20%

rise in donations for the Social Justice Fund of Ventura County, after a testimonial video and a brand identity video.

“He was able to identify our key messages and capture the passion of the emerging leaders we support. These videos were definitely a big help increasing by 20% our donations last year.”
Michael T. · Social Justice Fund of Ventura County

Every project starts with listening.

Here’s how that works.

A story-first approach

Real stories don't need extra drama or a polished finish.

I work with community leaders, teachers and organizations doing real work. I take my time and treat people's experiences with care.

The people in the story lead, and I follow.

00:00:47Meet the filmmaker

Welcome, I'm Tomás.

I started out photographing the nightlife of San Francisco & Oakland. I love the raw energy of sound system culture, where people dance, celebrate and express themselves in a radically authentic way, and that’s what I still look for every time I film.

Today I make documentaries and people-first video, and I use what I know to help the community around me.
